What are the classifications of thermal conductive materials (thermal conductive silicone sheets) in the field of electronic applications

Thermal conductive heat dissipation materials are generally divided into: thermal conductive silicone sheet, thermal conductive double-sided tape, thermal conductive ceramic sheet, thermal conductive silicone tape, and heat dissipation fins.

Thermal conductive silicone sheet: The substrate is silicone, a thermal conductive material synthesized by adding various auxiliary materials and metal oxides, also known as thermal conductive silicone pad, soft thermal conductive pad, etc., which can fill gaps;

Thermal conductive double-sided tape: It is made of acrylic adhesive substrate by adding and filling thermal conductive powder and organic silicone gel composite to achieve thermal insulation properties;

Thermal conductive ceramic sheet: The characteristics of this material are high thermal conductivity and high insulation. Generally, high-power equipment will use this thermal conductive material;

Thermal conductive silicone tape: The substrate of this material is glass fiber, also known as thermal conductive silicone tape, tear resistant silicone tape, etc. This material has good insulation properties, but the disadvantage is relatively low thermal conductivity;

Heat sink: This material is usually aluminum, and special materials such as ceramics and silicon carbide are common in the market. It is generally used to dissipate heat from electronic components and requires a thermal conductive medium to connect in between.
